I stayed here with my husband for part of the trip, and then by myself for the rest of my 2 week stay for work. Good location - I was able to walk and tram everywhere. The propery manager was very responsive and replied to my messages within minutes-hours. However, the place is showing its wear and tear as a rental. The table/chairs were quite wobbly/unstable, the main frying pan is unbalanced and won't sit on the stovetop without falling over. The shower door didn't open/close so I left it open for my entire trip (granted the property manager did offer to send someone to check it out, I just didn't want a stranger coming into the place when I was there alone). There was a toothbrush left over from the previous guest and there was hair in the bathroom when we first arrived. The building also creaks loudly as it sways from side to side in the wind, which was often while I was there. Overall, the location made it worth the while but the place could use some TLC.
I stayed with three of my friends for just three days, and it was perfect for what we needed. they let us check in a few hours early for no added fee, which was so amazing. If i find myself in melbourne again I will probably try to come back here. Also, the sky deck was so perfect for sunset, and we even made some friends up there.
It was super convenient to everything. A plethora of restaurants, grocery stores and free transport. Art Galleries and museums a pleasant walk away and the famous Victoria market was 2 blks away. There was a shortage of clothes hangers which I communicated about and it was remedied right away.
