Lovely accommodation within a lovely village, the views of the countryside out the back were amazing. The cottage was very well equipped. The shower in the en-suite was one of the best we have encountered in a holiday let and the bed was super comfy. They could do with an ash bucket, the information guide asks you to put the ash in a bin liner, this we were not prepared to do as ash takes a couple of days to cool and we used the log burner daily. Also the cleanliness was a little disappointing as there was a cushion on the bed covered in dust, just a little more attention to detail and this property would be excellent. The pub in the village was very friendly, only a minutes walk away, we can fully recommend their fish and chips. We also visited the Italian restaurant one evening and the garden centre one morning for a full english, both were delicious and only a ten minute walk, all offering gluten free options which for us was perfect.
