The Holiday Inn at University of Memphis is the perfect location for all the great things Memphis has to offer! It’s an easy drive to downtown, the Edge district, and activities in east Memphis like the Botanic Garden. There are lots of great food options like RP Tracks and Brother Juniper’s an easy walk across campus. Or hop onto Poplar or Central and be at some of the best restaurants in Memphis in under 10 minutes. Hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. Even though the rooms are a bit run down (our shower curtain was torn in a couple places,) it’s a great place to stay for the price. Safe and very convenient.

My son’s family lives near, so I have stayed multiple times. The hotel is large with low occupancy and needs some updating, but service is excellent at the desk and restaurant. I liked additional lighting in the parking lot and the guard presence after dark. My suite was large with a door between the bedroom and the living room and kitchen area.

Clean, great staff, convenient. Went in mid march, temps in Memphis were in the mid 70’s. Room A/C wouldn’t get cool enough. Motel utilizes a cooling tower so the system may not have been able to accommodate. Nonetheless it was an inconvenience being hot at night. Otherwise a pleasant stay

Reliable and Secure

This was our second stay. Our family lives nearby and we came to visit them. This hotel is very clean, safe, and surprisingly quiet for its location (we used to live in the same neighborhood). We opted for the breakfast add on both times and it was well worth it!
