The staff at this hotel were excellent — friendly, attentive, and full of great local recommendations for exploring the area. Breakfast was enjoyable, and both the lobby and breakfast/bar areas were nicely designed and comfortable. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience didn’t quite meet our expectations. The pool had visible rust along the sides, and the surrounding area was rundown, which made us uneasy about venturing out after dark. We did park directly in front of the hotel and, thankfully, had no issues with our vehicle. Our room was average. The dark stains on the shower floor made it appear less than clean, and there were no drawers for clothing — just a small closet with a few hangers. The pillows didn’t fit the king-size bed, the A/C unit worked but was loud and rattly, and the TV remote wasn’t properly connected. Overall, we expected more from our stay. The outstanding staff truly made the difference — without them, we likely would not have stayed

The staff were very helpful and friendly Clean facilities, very comfortable. Catered to our group of ten from Australia. The buffet breakfast was great, a wonderful variety of food. They have an on-site restaurant with authentic Southern-style food- superb customer service from Shannon and the chef Blane! Misty and Buja at the reception was a great help! Highly recommend staying here.

Loved the Blane Restaurant and the breakfast prepared by the food service staff. However, I had an issue with the toilet and called the Front Desk to resolve. I was told that I needed a plunger and the Attendant told me I needed to come down and the plunger and unclog the toilet myself. It was 2:30 a.m. in the morning and he asked if I wanted to change rooms, after we were settled in and asleep from a long drive to the hotel.
