First off the guy at check in was sitting in the lobby when we pulled up. Then was asked what we didn’t like about hotel down the road told him read something about they had bugs. I was already edgy being around Memphis and the crime I hear about he goes on to start telling us about a guy running around naked waving a knife a few days before and another things going on plus another customer came up asking about a clean towel said couldn’t unless they brought the dirty one to him. Too make things short he just seemed lazy and rude more importantly just seemed inappropriate. Room needs remodeling badly bed lumpy room smelled. And was charged a deposit and afraid we may not get it back but we did. The night employee man was biggest problem will not stay again.

The stay at Sleep Inn Horn Lake was good. We were not comfortable outside in the surroundings. We had never been to that area and did not know what to expect. I did not like the loitering around the outside. There are plenty of shopping & eateries around. Our first impression about the hotel was questionable. But once we settled in, we found it to be clean & comfortable. Thanks!

Needs some improvements

The second floor you can hear people in the rooms next to you. Dude. Or girl next door would fart and sneeze. Thought they were in the room with me. Bed was super uncomfortable. And the little dumb pillows. Get some real pillows. It was definitely not a good sleep in. Coffee pot. No coffee. Breakfast was pretty good though. 3 little hand towels and 1 wash cloth.

The 3-11 & 11-7 front desk staff were awesome and very engaging. They made sure I was comfortable and answered all the questions I had about the area. The downfall of this location—- the lights by the bed didn't work but they said they were renovating. None of the phones in the rooms worked. But the place was clean.

Definitely was not a buffet breakfast all they had was eggs and bacon. Staff was very nice and kind. Showers are nice. Only bad thing we experienced was when we got to our room there were hairs all over the sheets under the comforter, that definitely wasn’t ours considering we just walked into our room.
