This is a wonderful place to stay! It was perfect for our family of six adults and five children. It is beautiful with so many special touches and it was so clean. The kitchen has everything! We had a wonderful time and are planning our next trip, hopefully in the spring.

Loved our stay in Mentone and the house was very comfortable and spacious. It had everything we needed with plenty of sitting and sleeping space. We took day trips and this location was perfect to leave and return to. More there than meets the eye.

We loved the property. The views were gorgeous and the location very convenient to both Mentone and Desoto Falls. The house is so cozy with comfortable beds. we had a wonderful time with three sisters and our elderly mom. Also had a small dog and the property was very pet friendly. There is a very comfortable bedroom on the main floor right off the living area, which is handy if you are traveling with someone with limited mobility. Mary was wonderful and very helpful when needed. I recommend this property.

Roomy with quirks

Plusses: Roomy (except only 5 dining chairs?), well stocked, comfortable beds, 2/3 view of sunset was very good.Take aways: Large 2 story cabin in front to the left partially blocked "brow" view and took away from viewing sunsets. NO large deck or porch with multiple chairs to sit out together. The DOORS are awful, ones to go outside and the inner doors were bad as well! Half of us had to eat in living room since only had 5 dining chairs at table. Owners live next door with 3-4 large dogs who barked at us from their deck or windows every time we stepped outside. Doubtful that we would stay here again (all adults felt this way!).

Dream of a stay

Absolutely lovely and attentive hosts that were responsive and kind. The house is perfectly appointed and comfy with plenty of rooms and baths. The upstairs has a delightful play area/tree house feel. We did some of the puzzles and games and easily cooked dinner in the kitchen. The view from the Brow is exquisite.

Mary Gresham was the perfect host and the Brow home was stunning with stunning views! We were all so comfortable with plenty room to spread out or gather together for meals. Love the short commute to Downtown Mentone and exploring the waterfalls nearby.

Family Time

The sweetest place for our family getaway. We had our grands, our kids and our parents. 2-82yr old. Mary has thought of everything you might need and has it available in the cabin. Seriously don’t think I’ve seen a more well thought out venue. And the decor is perfection! We spent so much time around the table eating, playing games and just enjoying each other. Close to town and Desoto Falls too. I will say that one of the reasons we chose this house was the fact it has two bedrooms on the main floor. With our 80yr parents this was a great plus knowing they had no steps to take once they got in the house. Mary is precious and enjoyed a nice chat outside while our dogs chatted too. Highly recommend a stay on the brow! Hoping to come back next year!

Sibling get away

What an incredible few days in this beautiful cabin! Everything was top notch, including the sweetest owners who made sure we had everything we needed. This cabin was spacious, beautifully decorated and provided great views. We definitely plan on returning soon.

PERFECT RETREAT

The listing is 100% accurate!!! Beautiful home where everything you could need is provided. So clean and bright and peaceful. The views are amazing and the owners are so nice. We even locked ourselves out of the house and the owners came and got us in the house. Could not have asked for a better place to stay and honestly looking forward to re-booking in the future.

Cozy cabin with everything you need!

We loved our stay here! Mary was so helpful and kind and has everything you need and more in the cabin. Such a cozy place with plenty of space for our group to spread out and to gather together. Great view from the fenced-in backyard and the upstairs porch—honestly, everything was even better than the beautiful pictures had us hoping!

Most enjoyable stay, amenities were over the top. Home was better than described and we didn't need anything. Mary our host was very responsive to our questions and came by to see if we needed anything. We would definitely come back. Home will accommodate 3 families easily.
