My room was not cleaned properly. There was dirty used towels hanging on the shower curtain rod and hair on the tub as well as the shower wall. I didn't have enough towels to accommodate the number of people that were staying in the room, and when I requested more I never received them until I walked down to the front desk and waited for them.

The hotel was new, pretty & clean. The staff was very friendly. The room was small with no seating except an office chair & the bed. The website stated that the room had microwave &coffeemaker but had neither. The breakfast was average, not the special extras as the signage suggested. At check-in we found our tv not working. We called the desk & were immediately given another room. We will be going back to our usual hotel on our bext trip (we travel to the area frequently). Not a bad place but definitely less for what you get for the same price right across the street.

Overall, we had a very good experience here at The Tru. The person at the front desk was super pleasant, and friendly. The takeaway is that while the room was very clean and comfortable, the shower was very small.

This review is solely based on the service that I received from the young ladies at the front desk, Annette and t. I am a noneport eater and I asked about chicken or pork option for meat and Annette accommodated. Overly friendly and I love it as I am, over the top, a hugger, empath if you will, I can rock with that as I work in hospitality once before. She had me leave them feeling good along with people that was leaving before me. She gave them a nice hug on their send off and I look forward to returning, only for her. The rooms were mediocre at best

Great Place

We were travelling and decided on an early evening and rest. It was just what we needed. Clean, quiet, great beds, and so relaxing. Nice restaurants and many things to do nearby, if you were so inclined. Great breakfast was provided in the hotel.

We were greeted warmly when we arrived. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The crown jewel for this hotel is Annette, who serves breakfast and treats everyone like they’re a VIP. The only improvement could be in sound-proofing in the rooms, as you can clearly hear people’s conversations out in the halls.
