The location was excellent, within easy walking distance of the historic center, and despite being on a busy street, our room was remarkably quiet. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, helpful, and friendly. The hotel facilities are beautiful, and the nighttime ambiance is particularly special.
We loved the live music featuring a piano and violin; it was incredibly soothing and featured a wonderful range, from movie soundtracks like LaLa Land to classical pieces and even tango. We also really appreciated the complimentary drinks at the bar, which was a lovely touch.
For dining, we had both dinner and breakfast at Fontana, and the food was great. A special shout-out to Maximiliano, who went above and beyond with his service. He was so friendly and proactive; at one point, while I was waiting at a food station, he insisted I go sit down and relax while they prepared my meal, promising to bring it to me himself.
I would definitely recommend this hotel. It will be our first choice whenever we are back in Mexico City!
