We were pretty thrilled with our stay in this new location in Roma Norte. We were likely among some of the first guests at this property, and they're still sorting out their guest experience, so by the time you get there, it will likely be even smoother.
The only slight hiccup during checkin was that the door coded provided didn't work. The staff downstairs unlocked the door for us, and a new code was reprogrammed remotely within a few minutes of arrival.
The apartment is gorgeous and tastefully decorated. The kitchen had a toaster and a kettle, but no device for making coffee. (There are multiple coffee shops within a block, but sometimes you want to make coffee before you get dressed.) We purchased a French press to remedy this problem for the rest of the week.
We never got more than 2 minutes of hot water without the heater beeping an error code and having to be reset. We did email the property manager with this question, but never received a response. Our stay was over Dia de Muertos, so the lag in communication is understandable.
Be aware that this building is adjacent to a popular bar that runs until the wee hours on the weekends. Bring your earplugs, unless you plan to be at that bar. The bedroom that opens to the atrium is more prone to noise pollution, the bedroom that opens to the street was better.
Breathtaking rooftop. Friendly staff (minimal English). And they returned my credit card when they found it in the laundry room. We'll book again!
