limited choices and not so good menu selection, staff a little slow for small things such as salt, pepper, toasted bread extra coffee, juice, coffee too cold and even asking staff nicely to please reheat, still they bring it cold, asking simple changes on the plate the staff do not understand even in Spanish. Seems like they need more experienced personnel for their restaurant even though the staff is a lot, they talk too much with each other instead of taking care of the customers promptly. For instance, they bring the main plate, but take too long to bring the rest, so the food gets cold.

The hotel was was really beautiful, very clean, Only thing i didn't like about the hotel was night 1st are lights in room did not turn on, night 2st we didn't have any water, and the Day 4th as my husband and I were relaxing in are room without knocking one of the workers opened are room door, she seen we were in room closed the door without saying anything, the room had already been cleaned in the in morning, so that was weird.. But overall the place is beautiful,

We arrived when a protest was anticipated, unnotified of this, we couldn't find the entrance as the hotel was boarded up w/o the name painted over the tiny wooden door to the lobby. Our taxi had dropped us 5 blocks away, so we spent about 10 minutes looking. Loads of friendly staff, small room, super soft bed, 'free" cafe was handy. Food was always cold, except ironically, the chicken salad wrap, which was hot! The pricey dinner was great except the entre which was cold, they remade it and it was also cold, They didn't question why I didn't eat it, nor did they seem to care. Dinner was over $200 CDN. Great location, very noisy in the hood.Hotel offers a walking tour, take it. I would stay here again if a deal was offered, as it was one of the most expensive hotels I have ever stayed in and I have been to over 30 countries.

We especially enjoyed the cafe--it was great for an early morning coffee (thanks to Alondra and Joseline!) and a cozy place to head too after a great day out in the city. The staff was especially helpful--Jose Luis with great recommendations and Eduardo for coming through with alternative transportation when needed.
