We stayed in a Stayplus-managed condo in Coconut Grove in early March. The unit itself was exactly as advertised—the view, location, and overall condition were all excellent, although the sofas and loveseats were not comfortable at all. Unfortunately, our experience with Stayplus as a management company was inconsistent and, at times, frustrating.At check-in, communication of an impending access code was a waste of time since there wasn't one, which added unnecessary stress at arrival. Prior to the stay, we received nonfunctioning links through VRBO with parking fees that increased post-booking and to get the original rate, we were asked to pay off platform, which made us uncomfortable. We also asked about specific kitchen items to plan our meals accordingly. We were initially led to believe they would check once the unit turned over on March 1, but after multiple follow-ups they ultimately declined and told us to bring what we needed. That wasn't an option since we were flying and the back-and-forth implied willingness to assist, which was misleading. During the stay, communication remained uneven, including a late request for guest information hours after check-in that did not appear necessary. After checkout, we were sent a promotion to book directly through their website, but the link provided led to a non-functioning page. While the property itself was very good, the management experience was not reliable, and I would be hesitant to book through Stayplus again.
