We had a very disappointing experience at this property, and I feel obligated to share the details so others can avoid the same situation.Misrepresentation of BookingUpon arrival, we were told the ocean-view unit we originally booked was unavailable. After spending a long time on the phone with management, we were placed in another unit that was also not what we reserved. Traveling with two small children, this caused unnecessary stress and completely derailed the start of our vacation.Inadequate Kitchen AmenitiesThe kitchen was a disaster—there weren’t enough utensils, silverware, or glasses for a family of four. The frying pan was broken, the kettle was rusty, and the toaster didn’t work. We were told by management that they no longer provide these items, which makes no sense if the rental is advertised as fully equipped. Worse, they left broken, unusable items in the unit. Are guests expected to go shopping for kitchen essentials?Health Hazard: Black MoldThis was by far the most concerning issue. We discovered black mold in the bathroom and kitchen cabinets just a couple of days before our departure. During our stay, my son developed respiratory issues, coughing, and rashes, which we suspect were caused by mold exposure. Black mold is a major health violation and completely unacceptable in a rental property.
