The front desk let us into the condo around 4 PM when we got to the room it was not ready. The cleaners were still cleaning. Was a very uncomfortable for both parties.There was no kettle and no cookie sheet for the oven we went out to get to cook our own food and it was very inconvenient without the correct utensilsThere were a couple of seniors in the group. It would be good to have bath mats as the bath was very slippery. We did not receive hand towels and not enough face cloth’s we had to share. And no bath mat for when you get out of the showerThe condo post pictures looked a lot larger than when we got there and we were under the impression. There was two beds in two rooms according to the post and there was only one bed in each of the other 2 rooms.I feel that pictures on the Vrbo website should be updated every six months the pictures are very deceiving.Overall was an ok experience

Not what we were expecting. We’ve stayed at brickell before and this time was not a positive experience. There were 7 of us and only 3 could shower quickly as the hot water kept running out. The key Fob only worked half the time and we were asked where the other one is but there was only one. I didn’t get the wifi password until mid way during our stay. The dishwasher had dishes in it that were not from our stay and had a horrible odor that lingered throughout the apartment and while running was leaking out in the kitchen. I booked online and somehow ended up with next week booking not the booking I intended not sure why that happened because I was double checking dates and it still happened yet there’s no refunds for canceling but couldn’t get any response from Vrbo or host about the matter who happens to be the same host for both bookings come to find out but I was coming into Miami for work so had to re book only to have all this happen. Very disappointed and frustrated with all this and feeling ripped off. Will not be staying here again nor recommending so. In fact I will be letting everyone I can know to not book here. Not worth it.

Perfect place to stay at if you have a cruise to catch which is about a 15 minute drive.

Beware

The place was advertised with 8 beds. However once we arrived there were only 6 beds. I called VRBO and was put on hold for 3 hours. After 3 hours of waiting VRBO wasn't able to find us another place, on top of that they told me a manager would call me. 4 days later I'm still waiting for a callback.

Weekend trip

After the passing of my father, my family members and I needed a place to stay and came down to Florida on three days notice.. It was spring break as well as the music festival. There were very few listings available to suit our needs. This space was one of the few larger apartments available in the Brickell area. The owner communicated very well with me from the beginning and was very courteous and lenient. Unfortunately when we arrived, the front desk did not have us listed and we had to jump through a few hoops and speak with the property manager in order to get us approved to go upstairs. That was a bit of a hassle and an inconvenience especially after traveling to get there. It was however straightened out within the hour. We also had to purchase more fobs Since only one was provided,. Because the apartment sleeps 6-8 people this was a bit ridiculous since 6 to 8 people would most likely not be leaving and entering the building at the same time over the course of the weekend. This was especially ridiculous since we paid over $1300 a night to stay there. I would have appreciated if there was at least two -three fobs so we could split up and not have to rely on one another. Or pay extra to get into the building that we already paid alot to stay in. The apartment was as pictured. It is pretty basic and not very luxurious.. it was sparsely furnished. It would’ve been nice to have a night table next to any of the beds. There was not . Only in the master bedroom. Terrace had a great view. And the nighttime view was absolutely beautiful. It was very clean. Beds were a bit hard and not very comfortable . Some of the pillows were definitely softer than the others so that made it a bit better. Kitchen was clean as well, although there was a 2 cup coffee pot which again was a bit ridiculous for an apartment that houses 6-8 people. It appears that the apartment was originally a large one bedroom apartment, converted into a four bedroom. So it did seem a bit squeezed. Bathrooms were very clean. Only one towel was provided per person. I would have liked to seen a few more towels available, especially when we wanted to go down to the pool area and bring a 2nd towel. The area in which the building was located was amazing. Lots of great restaurants and cafĂ©s . Beautiful water area to walk around in as well. Prime location.

Good and bad

The location was great! And the building was nice with 2 great pools and hot tub. Easy parking. Beautiful weather. The fob to get access throughout the building only worked for one day so that was a bit annoying as all areas of building require it. The apartment was nice with 4 bedrooms. Kitchen was good. Broken microwave door, toilet paper holders, and missing light bulbs. Would recommend more towels and blankets. Asked the renter who said yes to fixing fob, getting blankets and lightbulbs and never did any of it. Very strange because she was pleasant and agreeable on phone and text but had NO follow through. We just stopped asking and let it go. Not very professional.
