Classic deco hotel in the heart of South Beach. Easy check-in, super nice staff. The neighborhood is loud and a bit crazy, but it's South Beach and expected. Definitely will stay here again.

This was our second stay at The Beacon. We love the welcoming atmosphere and the down to earth employees. The rooms are small but comfortable.

Property needs all renovations!!! Starting with the elevator that was beyond scary and seemed to get stuck so we didn’t use! ONLY had 2 face rags for 4 people and NONE available! NO clean rags available for 3 days!!! NO ice machine! The room had RUST everywhere! Paint pealing all throughout the room! Hot water was ONLY warm! Microwave DIDNT work and seen staff taking up another one and asked if we could get one they had NO more left! WILL NOT recommend to anyone! But great location!

Avoid at all costs. Hotel had a musky smell and had flies all over the room. There were stains on the furniture and urine stains on the toilet seat. The floor was goofy and the bed frame was broken. Did not stay walked out immediately. Raised concerns with the front desk and was simply told to try another room.
