The room was extremely dusty and clearly had not been properly wiped down since the renovation. While the hotel claims to be renovated, it appears they simply kept the old furniture, which was worn, dinged, and covered in dust. The overall cleanliness was unacceptable. To make matters worse, the staff was incredibly ill-informed and rude, offering little to no assistance when issues were raised. For the price charged, the lack of service, professionalism, and attention to basic cleanliness is unacceptable. This hotel is significantly overpriced for what it delivers.

The Westin National Harbor was just okay. The hotel is clean and comfortable, but nothing stood out as exceptional during my stay. Service felt pretty rigid. After the initial check-in, I was told they couldn’t provide an extra bottle of water, which was surprising for a Westin. I also requested a late checkout and wasn’t able to get anything beyond 12pm, which felt a bit inflexible. Parking was another downside. Valet is $55 per night, and self-parking is $25 after four hours, but the charge resets every time you leave, which adds up quickly and feels unnecessary. Overall, it’s not a bad hotel and it does the job, but it lacks the little touches that make a stay feel elevated. Fine if you need a place to stay at National Harbor, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to stay here again.

My room was spacious, impeccably clean, and well-appointed with modern amenities. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. I especially appreciated the stunning views of the surrounding area from my balcony. The hotel offers a fantastic range of facilities, including a well-equipped fitness center and a stunning outdoor pool area, perfect for relaxation after a busy day. I also enjoyed dining at the on-site restaurant, where the menu featured a delightful selection of dishes, all expertly prepared. Located conveniently near the airport and major attractions, the hotel is ideal for both business and leisure travelers.
