My group came here for a music festival and we had a great time. The property while very small was enough for our 4 night stay as we were only there to sleep, shower and get ready to go back out there. Very basic in terms of a âkitchenâ even though we knew there was no stove, very easy additions such as adding a microwave or hotplate would run a long way as all we could eat were sandwiches since we didnât have anything to heat things up. All to say, the host was super communicative and helpful throughout the stay and itâs accurate to listing. :)
Property served as a basecamp for a fly fishing trip to Miami. This was a central location for us to explore the area. Little Haiti is not the nicest part of Miami, but we felt safe and our raft was secure within the fence surrounding the property.
Andrea was extremely responsive to our inquiries; we couldn't have asked from much more.
The check-in process was as easy as it could be as was the check-out process.
Overall, this was a good place to get some rest before hitting the water the next day.
The property is even smaller than it looks online, had no wash cloths in the bathroom. Had metal utensils and few other dish items even though there is no sink the wash them in other than the bathroom sink or tub. The trash outside of the property smelled rancid and made it disgusting to come in and out of the property. The property had one in wall air conditioning unit that was extremely old and unsanitary and gave the room a funky odor that made it feel hard to breathe. It honestly smelled like cats had been in there before too and used the bathroom everywhere. The finishing touch was coming home from our drive from the beach one night to bugs crawling in from underneath the door. They were all over the floor, walls, ceilings, and bathroom. It was disgusting and when we tried to contact the property owner she didnât respond. It took her until the last day of our stay to actually respond to us to give us no solution or money back for our hellish stay.
