We had a good experience at the Villa Ciao Bella, though there were a few challenges. The right side of the indoor refrigerator took more than 24 hours to cool up appropriately. The team sent someone to check it out the next day and it did ultimately get to the right temperature, though the appliance continued to leak out the bottom for the entire duration of our stay and went unaddressed by the maintenance team. The backyard pool light was also broken when we arrived, so it was very dark in the yard the entire first night of our stay. The team replaced the light the next day which was great, but again it was just a disappointment that this was only addressed when I had to ask if we were doing something wrong to get the light on. Lastly, there were not enough trash bags supplied to follow the check out instructions of clearing everything up, so we just had to organize our trash in one area of the home instead of bagging it all up.
Ultimately the house is a great place for a large group as there is plenty of room for everyone to sleep and hangout, but you can definitely tell that it has been through a great deal of wear and tear. It is a bummer when you have to make 2-3 requests for support or fixes during a relatively short weekend stay, but I think that's probably to be expected with a house that can accommodate such large groups consistently.
Overall, we appreciated the opportunity to host an important milestone at this house and are grateful for the accommodation!
