The pool and outdoor amenities are definitely not what they look like on the photos. Looks as though they have aged significantly and one of the hot tub areas were covered up with grass, the outside arcade looked abandoned, the rocks for the waterfall features were faded and not operating, the whole place kinda had an abandoned vibe to it. Looks like it once was a vibe but now is outdated. The in room fridge and snack area was stocked with goodies but the room service came by while the do not disturb sign was up to check inventory of it to see what else they could add in to the room charge. That really seemed a bit much. The soaps and shampoos provided were very cheap ( I usually look forward to these items when going to a high end place to discover new brands). They were as cheap smelling as they come and not sure a motel 6 would even use them. The buffet was very basic for the $39.99 a person they were charging. I don’t mind paying premium prices for premium goods, but they nickel and dimed so much on basic things that it came across cheap and rude. The resort fee that was paid when booking on top of the room fee was steep for it being so run down. There was very loud construction going on right outside our door and in the hotel beside us. Rooms were not sound proof as we heard every word. I had high hopes for this place but I definitely feel ripped off unfortunately. This place probably was great many years ago, but it just is not anymore for the premium price.

Me and my wife stood at this resort this past weekend. On our third night we woke up with bedbug bites all over our bodies. Let staff know and they didn’t seem to care much. Definitely some lack of hygiene in this resort and bad customer service.

Very disappointed!

We are regulars to Trump International & their Spa. We are very much Trump supporters! However, upon leaving we found fees on our bill that didn’t make any sense. Even worse off…we call valet for our car. We have always given valet gratuity at the end of our stay even though you are charged every day . Today we call for our car and a women from valet comes to our car and says , you didn’t pay valet and you owe us one hundred dollars . We explain that we most definitely did and she said, no you did not! We get out of the car and show her the receipt and of course, it was paid. She wasn’t apologetic what so ever. It was very embarrassing how she treated us as the rest of the valet men were just staring and smirking at us. We left without giving the extra gratuity due to the way they all acted. NOT EVEN 3 MINUTES LATER THE PHONE RINGS WITH “NO CALLER ID” and a man asks for Mike and said, YOU ARE A MOTHER explicit and hung up. We knew it was the valet that called. I immediately called the hotel and asked for the manager and explained exactly what happened. Of course, we can’t prove it because he blocked the call. The manager apologized and said, she was embarrassed for the hotel and would send out an email to all departments. Unfortunately, we will never return to the hotel!

Disliked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities
Definitely not a 4 star hotel. Beach was nice but room and hotel needs massive updating and maintenance. Marketing team deserves a raise because they definitely make this hotel seem better than it is. Stay here if you want to stay at a trump branded holiday inn.

It was very clean and the ocean frint view was amazing. I do wish there was a self parking option. Everything wlse though is just wonderful. Beautiful hotel. Family friendly.
