Comfort and Hospitality
This place was most comfortable, SPOTLESS and the best outfitted AB&B any of us have ever been to!
From the floor rugs that even the toddlers were happy to snuggle on, to the bedding and towels that were plush and plentiful there was simple comfort everywhere.
The decor was lovely but not too fancy to make it fussy. The backyard was ready for grilling, picnics, fire pit, yard games and all in an enclosed space for kids and dogs. Our beagle became quite at home—and she doesn’t like change!
In fact we arrived to find bowls and a container of dog treats. A very welcoming surprise.
Roomy and spotless with a complete kitchen, salts, peppers, sugar and creamer, coffee and tea, plenty of dishes, kid friendly utensils and assorted glasses, even ice packs in the freezer for a day at the beach. Nothing is overlooked in this lovely home. Even rocking chairs on the porch in the evening!
The location is has free parking and we even walked to a couple restaurants and the train that went into Chicago. It’s easy access to the beach, shopping, the aquarium, a children’s museum and rental boats or tour boat rides. Plenty to do and not do. Just relax on the beach or have drinks by the fire pit. It’s a great place to enjoy in comfort.
