Very comfortable beds but the pillows were too hard. Plenty of convenient parking. It was nice to have a laundry available. Loved the lobby cats but if you have allergies, better find another place to stay

This is not what some would call a 5 star hotel but if you are going to Baxter State park it is a good place to stay. It is an older facility and the owners live there and they are very nice and them and their staff are helpful and nice! They have a wonderful laundry which is important for us when traveling. Their continental breakfast is adequate. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We lived Baxter State park! Hikers and hunters stay here. We met 2 boys that were hiking the Appalachian trail! So at first we weren't sure, but in the end very glad we stayed here!

My husband and I were a little Worried About staying not at a nationally named hotel. We were pleasantly surprised staying at the Baxter Park Inn. The clerk at the desk was friendly and pleasant. She explained their establishment rules. They offered breakfast in the morning, though we didn’t have any. The rooms were nice and clean. The only negative is taking our suitcases up a metal flight of stairs to the second floor. My husband had to make two trips as I couldn’t lug my suitcase up the steps.

I really liked this motel. But they should probably warn people that five cats live there , and have the unused convention room to roam free, plus the lobby. The place is filled with cat trees, cat toys, cat hammocks... you get the idea. But the guest rooms are separated by glass doors. My allergic traveling partner had no issues whatsoever and from my part , I absolutely adored these sweet , clean cats. The rooms are clean and plain, nothing fancy but very comfortable. Very , very friendly staff and a really good breakfast for free.

We were very disappointed on the cleanliness of the room first, we went to make coffee and no one cleaned the coffee pot. It was filled with coffee, grinds and old coffee from the previous guest. Then we got into bed and there were long blonde hairs on the pillowcase that leads me to believe that it was never changed just remade so frankly those two things made it disgusting

The location was great to get to Baxter State Park for hiking. We had everything we needed for the last night of our two week adventure through Acadia and up into Canada and back to Bangor. The property was a tad outdated but very clean. I would stay again.

I stayed at the Baxter Park inn back in October 2023, and liked the hotel, so I booked it again for this trip. Millinocket doesn't have a lot going on, but my trip was mainly for visiting Baxter State park and the nearby hiking trails. The housekeeping service is excellent - especially in this post COVID world.
