The location was great, the accommodation was clean, well maintained, and had everything I needed. The amenities were nice, and once I was finally inside, I really enjoyed my stay.
Unfortunately, the check-in process was one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve had. This is a self-check-in property, and I initially had trouble finding the entrance. I had to call the host for assistance, and even after finding the property, I struggled to retrieve the key and unlock the door because the instructions weren’t clear.
After a long day of traveling in the heat, all I wanted was to get inside, take a shower, and relax. Instead, I spent a considerable amount of time trying to get in. When I called for help, the host became impatient and repeatedly told me to “turn it, turn it” rather than calmly explaining how the lock worked. The conversation left me feeling stressed instead of welcomed.
Once I got inside, the stay itself was great. If the check-in instructions were clearer and the host was more patient with first-time guests, I would have had a much better overall experience.
The property deserves praise, but the arrival experience needs significant improvement.
