1.) I called ahead of time to request a refrigerator in our room because we need one for my son’s cardiac medication. When we get to our room, there wasn’t one. A nice man did bring us one but shortly after he arrived I noticed that the carpet outside of the bathroom and in the entry way was soaked. Not wet, SOAKED. The carpet in the room that we were moved to was sticky, I would not walk on it barefoot. 2.) The rooms were dirty (dusty, disgusting trash cans, muddy foot prints in bathroom, mold growing on peeling wallpaper and shower curtains, overall damp feeling) and the furniture is so, so worn. The drapes were torn which is such an easy thing to replace. Our comforter had big, black, hard stains on it and I found leaves, grass in the bed. 3.) Piles of dirty sheets and old take out containers sat in the hallway for an entire day outside of the elevator. 4.) Possibly the worst thing is that the elevators are extremely dangerous. The safety mechanism failed as we were getting on the elevator and nearly smashed my husband and my 4 month old daughter who was thankfully in her infant seat. Are you kidding me? It REALLY scared us! I’ve never had an experience like this. We would have moved hotels but hauling my two young children out after we had been on the road all day would have been too difficult and I did not want to have to pay for cancelling. In fact I hate that I paid at all for such a bad experience.
Black, tar like stain on bedspread. It was hard to the touch. There was also dried leaves in my bed that did not come from me. I don’t think sheets were changed.

The pool was very beat up and nowhere to sit, and there was no hot tub. My bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was basic but good, and the staff was very kind.

So so stay

The only problem was letting people just hang out in the lobby all night long. I smoke so when I walked out of the elevator they were all there. They had a curtain around the booth with the TV screen with people in it and standing around it. About ten girls standing outside the building in the middle of the night. Used condoms all over the parking lot. Gross. The night clerks couldn't seem to do anything about this and I don't blame them. There was a lady during the day with a brace on her foot who was awesome. Very friendly and helpful. The housekeeping staff was very friendly and funny in the hall although we didn't need our room cleaned. You should clean up all the crap so tourists and regular people can really enjoy it there and not be intimidated if they come down for a smoke late. I won't stay there again. I'll pay more if I have to. Also, in your picture online, the hotel looks great which it's about two star.

Misleading and inaccurate but friendly

Friendly staff, room was great, but misleading website! On the website it said hot tub and it didn’t exist. When we asked it was out for at least six months and no plans as of yet to replace it according to staff. Also, it said there was a restaurant in the hotel, and there wasn’t. It isn’t going to be up and running until January of next year. These were two reasons we chose it
