Enjoyed our stay while playing the Disc Golf World Championships. The space was clean and the hosts are kind and responsive. . Main floor has kitchen, dining, and living room. Sofa is not very comfortable and it's a small tv. Kitchen is adequately stocked for those that don't cook extensively. Bed in room with sun porch is too soft. Not sure about other beds. Sunroom is nice. Main issue is that there is no way to open windows for fresh air as there are storm windows on the exterior. The 2nd floor has 4 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The other bathroom is in the basement, so 2 flights of narrow stairs below bedrooms.
This home easily accommodated our family of 8 adults. Great kitchen to work with, and large enough dining table for us all. There were extra chairs to add from the upstairs hallway. This is an older home with creaky floors, but the woodwork is beautiful, and the owners have done a lot of updates to make this place very functional. More lighting in the living room would be welcome, as it is quite a bit darker than it appears in the photos, but no complaints otherwise.
Lovely house and great communication from host. As another review noted, there is no bathroom on the main floor and the stairs are quite steep. My father is a bit frail so I was a little concerned but it all worked out fine in the end. Had a couple of suggestions for the host and they were very receptive.
Our family gathered from all over for a graduation at UMN. The house was beautiful and comfortable--a great place to just sit and catch up, and there were thoughtful extras like jigsaw puzzles. The kitchen was well-equipped and immaculate, as were the bathrooms. Beds were comfy and had good reading lamps. It was easy to drive over to the U and to the airport, and there were lots of takeout options within a short drive for the times we didnât want to cook. Katie was friendly and great to work with. Highly recommended.!
This property is conveniently located and has a kitchen with everything you need. The towels and bath mats could use updating. As other guests stated , the front door can be tricky to lock. Also, upon arrival, the recycle bin in the house was full from the previous guests and we needed to empty it. I think it would be important to note that due to the age of the home, there isnât a bathroom on the main level. They are located on the second floor and the basement. The weather was nice and it would have been nice to access the backyard furniture but unfortunately it was dirty. Again, itâs a great property but it could use a little TLC.
Our family was in town for a wedding. This house was a great place to gather for a family meal or to relax when needed. Great neighborhood. House is clean and has character.
The property was very nice and listing photos were accurate. The kitchen was very well-stocked with necessary things for making a meal. We enjoyed our stay very much!
We stayed for a few days over the holiday. Itâs a perfect location near many of our destinations. House was clean with lots of character. We enjoyed our stay. Would definitely book this one again.
Hosts were fabulous! Had some issues (older home) but hosts addressed. Steps are very steep and no bathroom on min floor which should be known if getting around is a problem. Appreciated the hosts kindness.
We enjoyed a comfy stay at this cozy house in a peaceful neighborhood. The house is within a reasonable distance from basically everywhere we wanted to go in Twin Cities. I would definitely recommend a stay here when in the St. Paul/Minneapolis area!
We had a great stay. In town for a sporting event and it was a quick and easy ride to downtown. Clean rooms, updated kitchen, and plenty of great areas to enjoy with the nice fall weather. It was perfect for our group.
Charming house with 4 bedrooms and lovely kitchen worked great for us. Close to airport and city sites. Owners were great with communication. Nice find in a lovely neighborhood!
Nice house with four good sized bedrooms in a quiet neighborhood. The location is within walking distance to light rail, coffee shops, restaurants and a micro-brewery.
Temperature reached near 90 a few days, but each bedroom and the downstairs dining area was equipped with an AC window unit that kept it comfortable.
We had a group of 8 including 4 teens who needed space to practice music and close proximity to Hamline. This really worked out. The stairs are steep though so caution if you have issues climbing or going down since the 2nd bath is in the basement. Quaint progressive neighborhood. Nice to walk around. Close to good coffee like Groundswell and great beer from Surley. Nice drive down Fairview for the southern end of St Paul only a couple miles away.
We were in St Paul for a curling event. The location worked very well for us. The home was clean and comfortable. Kitchen is very well equipped. We had requested an early check in and Katie was able to accommodate our request.
Overall a very good experience.
My daughter was looking for her wedding dress with our family and friends and said yes to the dress! The home was perfect for our girls weekend! Homey feel and great time around a the dining room table!
My family usually goes to Ann Arbor for one weekend each football weekend. This year we decided to take in an away game in Minneapolis. The accommodations were perfectly located near the stadium and close to a variety of very good restaurants. Also, since the VRBO is within ten miles of the airportl, it was a fantastic choice.
The host (Katie), house, and stay were fantastic. Katie was great about communication and very accommodating for us. The house was very cozy and homey. Updated kitchen was a nice little addition for sure. Plenty of cookware if you aren't planning on going out to eat. One thing I didn't notice on the listing that I was pleasantly surprised by was the cozy little backyard space. It's not huge by any means but it's private and a little overgrown, which I love. Our 2 year old loved rolling around in the grass. There's also a good basement space for unrestricted play. Nothing breakable so a nice little place for her to burn off some steam. Location was perfect too. Quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. My only regret is I didn't get to explore Snelling more as it seemed there was a wide range of little shops and eateries! I would definitely book again!
