I frequently stay in VRBOâs in the St. Paul area and this has been the best to date. The place is located in a good neighborhood and is within a short drive of anything you may want or need. The place was neat and we actually had free access to the thermostat! Fully intend to stay here again.
Our family stayed here for a week. 9 adults and 2 children. We had a great time. The host was responsive, and the house was very clean.
The only thing that we missed was a grill on the sect. Otherwise, the house was very equipped, the linens were nice and the internet worked. We will definitely stay here next time my family visits!
The communication with the property manager was A+ and the location was perfect for our family event near by. The one thing I would have liked to known was that the beds in the home are VERY firm. Other than that, all of us were happy with the property.
Clean; seem like nearly new rugs; quiet neighborhood; parks and playground within 1-2 miles; firm new matresses; bright and airy; quiet floors - no one was awakened by people walking above them; as much hot water as we could use, 4 car driveway plus 3 car curbside parking. Our host texted us multiple times to see if we had any questions or needs. Dining space tight for a group the size of this house, but the nice, covered and well lit backporch table allows expansion. I mean really - an osprey in the back tree with a fish caught 100 yards away in Lake Owasso, and a pair of Baltimore orioles, added to a great morning while visiting on the back porch. Very pleased.
Great neighborhood and our initial impressions were good, but as you looked around at the vents and baseboard heaters you could see quite a bit of dust. Since this house did have baseboard heaters, the AC unit was an add-on and did not cool all the rooms equally. The separate AC and heat controls were confusing. Outside - the front area had a table and chairs setting on a piece of vinyl flooring on bare dirt area. The rear deck needs some TLC and was not really usable.
