I've stayed here several times in recent years and this most recent trip was by far the worst. The industrial toilet was a trip back to elementary school with an oversized handle and a stubborn refusal to flush so much as a drop of urine. The shower clanked and rattled while someone down the hall slammed their door for twenty minutes straight. The bed was a torture device out of a Victorian novel, replete with ghostly creaks and a sense that one was being swallowed into its center at any given moment. The insolence of the front desk person when I checked out was unbeatable. They could barely speak above a whisper but rolled their eyes when I paused to process what they'd said. What happened to this place in the last six months?
