The room was clean overall, but every time the sink faucet was turned on there was a horrible mildew smell to the point I was concerned about the safety of using that water to brush my teeth or wash my face because I am allergic. By the time of check out, I was having a mild, but worsening, allerigic reaction.
The room had originally been booked for 2 nights, but we could only endure 1 night.
The room was advertised as sound proof yet we could hear people locking their cars from the street when we were on the fourth floor, the door to the room had a sizable gap underneath so we heard everything happening in the hallway, as well as any walking in the vicintiy, on our floor or the ones above and below.
The television seemed outdated or damaged maybe because every button click took close to a full minute before the tv responded, and Netflix was the only streaming service we could get to work.
There was noticeable water damage in and around the shower with peeling or missing caulking, and the paint on the handheld shower head was worn off the hose, around 3 inches down from where it connects to the shower head.
The complimentary drinks tokens at check in were a nice feature, but were not enough to offset the negatives that caused us to end our trip early, knowing I wouldn't get refunded for the second night.
