The single queen room that I had was small, but very functional, and nicely decorated. The hotel was clean, the area felt very safe, and the bed was very comfortable. Upon arrival, the guest in the room next door was loud, and the staff immediately took action, and remedy the situation. The staff is very in tune with making sure that all guests are well cared for and respected. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Room was clean and had fridge and microwave (Older model and not good enough wattage to heat in time on timer.. usually needed 2 times amount) Area is near the airport and a major highway and has access to all highways to move around all parts of MSP area. I spent the week in all four corners of the twin cities and had no issues ever getting to them or returning as the highway system near the Microtel is good.

Only thing I didn't like this time was the reset button on outlet went out a couple of times leaving me with no tv in main part of room. Bathroom had emergency power but I didn't like the fact that when I had to use the bathroom at night, the room was completely dark. Left the bathroom light on all night which also ran the noisy fan. Management was aware of the problem but rented the room to me anyway. Very disappointed with that. Would have liked to have been given accommodations on floor 2 or 3. Traveled by myself and I didn't feel safe being on first floor

There was a very terrible smell up on our floor, like hot grease. So gross. There were weird stains on the carpet, walls, and bed skirts. Lots of sketchy dudes just hanging around the property. By the time we checked out, all our clothes and suitcases picked up the nasty grease smell.

All staff were helpful and friendly, except 1. We traveled with a 78 year old woman with a wheelchair, we needed handicapped accommodations, but one particular staff wasn't interested in helping. He suggested we go to Walmart and purchase the shower/chair that we needed. Otherwise, our stay was comfortable, the rooms were clean and conducive to our family being able to visit.

I only stayed one nigh prior to f;ying out of MSP the next morning. I had stayed at this property years ago and was pleasantly surprised that it has been all refurbished and updated. Only negative is that the noise from the airport is noticeable, but it didn't keep me for getting a good night's rest.
