The property itself is definitely a budget property. Which I found surprising because I have always liked Springhill Suites but maybe this one is just due for an update. Where this place shines is the staff. There was someone different every time I went to the desk, called, or took the shuttle. But every single one of them went out of their way to be helpful and were kind. The hot tub was nice but many kids in it. The breakfast was so/so. Also typical. But there is a Chilis and Wendy’s basically next door.

My recommendation is, do not make any special requests as they will give you the exact opposite. Since I am a very light sleeper, I requested a quiet room away from the expressway and away from the elevator, preferably on the top floor. I was given the closest room to the elevator on the side closest to the expressway, on the middle floor. Very thin walls, so I could here all of the guests on their phones getting on and off the elevator, as well the guest above us stomping across the floor late at night and early in the morning. The hotel was fairly empty, so no other options was not a viable excuse.

When we checked in, the front desk person didn’t even acknowledge us for 5-10 minutes as we awkwardly stood there waiting to get checking in. The rest of the stay was great, but the staff at the front desk and breakfast areas weren’t very friendly. The website stated it slept 4, but the pull out couch was an uncomfortable trundle for 1, so the 4th person was on the couch. Unfortunately no one slept well. Hot tub was nice and hot albeit a little extra chlorinated for my eyes and lungs. The breakfast spread was fabulous and even included GF options!

Some staff was amazing, others were lacking customer service skills. Breakfast was ok if you like microwaved food, yogurt bread and cereal. Dining area was small for the amount of guests trying to eat. Room was spacious and mostly clean but bed was uncomfortable and had a lot of wear. Mold growth and cleanliness issues in the bathroom.
