Room was ok . Mattress and pillows were worn out ! Azra , she did an excellent job getting us items whenever we needed them . They were remodeling their bar which was very noisy, but looks like it will be really nice. Also loved that they had a couple of grills we used to cook dinner .

Upon entering our room, it had a bad smell, and it didn’t take long to find out why there were mice in the room, which we saw several times within the first hour there. They did end up moving us to another room, but didn’t offer to compensate for the terrible experience. For a hotel that was rated wonderful, I was surprised to have an experience like this.

We were extremely unhappy with the management at this Hotel. We booked thru Expedia at least 2 months in advance. We were traveling from Phoenix and Alliegant Airlines cancelled out flight. When we contacted the hotel to ask for a refund for our $400, 1 night stay, they refused to refund our money. Even though it was 2 months out and during our stay was the State Fair. We ended up getting another flight to come so that we didn't have to lose the money. When we arrived we noticed there were many work trucks in the parking lot and was told that the hotel was full. They could have easily resold our room with 2 months in advance or 2 days in advance. We felt it was very unfair. They blamed it on using Expedia to book it. Although Expedia also called 3 times trying to get a refund for us. We travel to Minot at least 2 times a year for business. We will never stay there again or recommend anyone to make a reservation with them. Expedia was wonderful and tried to help us. The hotel wouldn't budge. Pretty crappy in our opinion.
