We enjoyed our stay at Walk on the beach. Great house, great location, and the owner has provided so many of the things we normally bring. We were able to travel with a much lighter load. I hope to stay again very soon!

Great Place to Stay!

Chris and Angie have a great place to stay in the Sandestin Resort area. We have rented multiple houses over the years in the community and their place is our favorite. Everything is as described in the listing. The little things make a big difference which we appreciate, the golf cart safety checks before we arrived were a major plus, and the carts are great! If you have ever rented a place in San Destin with dead/weak golf cart batteries, you know what I mean. We were very happy with the rental and would book again without question.

Laurel Grove, Sandestin

This beach house was just as the listing said! The owner was so great to work with, very personable! It was the perfect house for our family of 9. It was my husband and I, and our two daughter’s and their families. We had three children, ages - 6,3, and 11 months old. Everyone had their own bedroom, plus each had a bathroom as well. Beautifully decorated, clean, and beds were comfy! Many extras like beach toys, games, bikes, and the golf carts were a huge plus and the kids loved them! The house is situated so close to the community pool, and just a short golf cart ride to Baytowne. The beach access is a short golf cart ride too. The back yard is very peaceful with pond in the backyard. Also, you can see the golf course in the back yard too. We done several things outside of resort, but you honestly don’t even have to leave the resort, everything is there and/or a golf cart ride away! When we come back to Sandestin we will definitely try to snatch this gem up again!

An absolute must-stay!!

I’d give more than 5 stars if I could! Sandestin is such a fun community where just about everything is accessible by golf cart. Baytowne Wharf, the beach, a pool just yards from the house, restaurants, and more. We have kids ranging from elementary to high school, and there was something for everyone—which is huge! This home has everything we needed—bikes, two golf carts, beach chairs/equipment, and more. The layout is open, with plenty of room for our family of 7 (and could easily accommodate more comfortably). Kitchen is fully stocked, and they have the best welcome/guidebook we’ve had in a rental. The communication with Chris was top notch, with very quick response. The location is perfect—minutes from the beach, wharf, grocery store, and restaurants by golf cart. Streets and sidewalks are bike-friendly, and we explored the whole area. Darling house, quiet neighborhood, and a patio that overlooks a lake—perfect for a BBQ in the evening or breakfast in the morning. My kids are already asking when we can go back!

Laurel Grove Perfection

We are frequent visitors to the Sandestin resort, and I would put this property as one of my all around favorites. Having 2 top quality 6-seater golf carts made our resort access so easy. We were able to cart to the grocery store, golf, Baytowne events, dinner, movies, and the Grand Boulevard farmer’s market. The house has almost every amenity you could think of., from chairs to fishing gear to bicycles. We were very comfortable as a family of 6 adults. We loved the back yard view for watching squirrels, turtles, and golfers. You wouldn’t think there would be any balls in the yard based on the house location, but there were! I would say the only issue was with trying to park multiple vehicles since the overflow spaces are simply not enough to accommodate the entire Laurel Grove community during a busy time. It isn’t anything against this home though, and anyone visiting needs to have a parking plan in case those spaces are full. We appreciated the communication with the owner. It feels like a property where they take pride and care about the guest experience. We hope to return again someday!

Perfect stay in Laurel Grove. Cleanest rental we have stayed in. Excellent communication from owner. Rental is thoughtfully stocked with everything one can need for a week at the beach. The 2 golf.carts are like new and are a great way to get around sandestin.

Great getaway

We’ve been coming to Sandestin for over 20 years now but have never rented a place as our family owns on the resort. We didn’t have access to our regular house this time so we took our chances and hit the jackpot! This house is the cutest! Perfect for our family of 6-very spacious with 3 full bathrooms, full kitchen & nice size living area. We grilled every night, ride bikes and loved that they had 2 golf carts! The place was decorated nicely and had a great beach theme in every room! We will definitely be staying here again if we need to rent again. Chris was amazing and was always very responsive to my questions. He got back to me within minutes every time! The neighborhood is very quiet & the house sits in a small cul de sac & is within walking distance to the pool & fitness center. Which we used daily. We couldn’t have been happier. Great place for our week stay at the beach!
