Despite the weather,we had a great time at this VRBO. Family of 5,so plenty of space.Condo was clean, comfortable-had almost everything we needed.Although they can not guarantee what is there,many things left in the owner's cage that alleviated a lot of stress as we flew to Sandestin.There were 4 beach chairs,umbrellas,a wagon,coolers,nets,body surfing boards, pails/shovels, & floats.Of course,there was wear and tear on these things.But again,we had none of them,so having them there to use was fantastic!We didn't do a lot of cooking but everything we needed was also in the kitchen.Publix is close by.We stopped there before checking into the Condo to get some supplies/food.Many stores/restaurants in Baytowne or by Publix.The view from the condo was beautiful.The pool was clean with a cute Tiki Bar with cocktails/food to purchase.The beach was clear of broken shells.The sand very soft.The water was beautiful (some seaweed but it also rained on and off while we were there).My boys bought fishing rods from the marina (which we left for the next renters if they want).They loved going to the various water spots to fish.They recommend bringing better hooks though.THE GOLF CART IS A MUST!! Our kids loved it and it really made a huge difference during our stay especially since we have never been to Sandestin before.Sandestin is huge.Would definitely rent this VRBO again. A few suggestions - 1) provide beach towels, 2) more forks in the kitchen.THANKS for a great trip!

The condo was well set up. However, the balcony was a huge disappointment. There were two lounge chairs that were unusable, broken and rusty and should be removed. As a result there was no where to sunbath on the balcony other than sitting in a chair.

Great Family Vacation Location!

The property management is extremely responsive and willing to answer any questions you may have! The property itself if beautiful! The condo was very clean, modern, and well stocked. The children loved the bunk rooms! The large balcony does not have a roof, which made it easy to tan while the kids took a nap. Would highly recommend this condo!

Nice Condo

This is a great condominium to stay when visiting Destin. I loved the fact it was self-check-in, and all the instructions were clearly laid out. The golf cart was a must for our vacation. It was nice to be able to get around without having to get back in our vehicle and mess with traffic (although this location is less busy). The layout was perfect for our needs. There were two bedrooms and two baths on one end and the master was on the other. I liked that privacy. The kitchen, dining, and family were all great sizes. The patio was large and had a table to eat at and plenty of chairs. We were able to watch various firework shows (we were there July 4) from our patio. I know those directly above us could only see those that were fired from the beach. The beach was pretty; white sand, clear waters, no jelly fish on our visit They have a storage area that two chairs are located along with other things left behind. Those were a little flimsy so keep that in mind if planning to stay on the beach all day. They are not the most comfortable. You do have to set up your chairs in a specific location (to the right of the rented chairs) You could rent but they place them right by the next person. The pool is large. I really enjoyed it. There were a lot of children in that pool and shade is limited. You have to get out there early and claim your chair. Be sure to not lose your bands or forget to leave them. You have to pay $25 for each one not left. Great place.

We had a wonderful family vacation! The condo was perfect for our stay and had all amenities needed The kitchen has all large small appliances needed including toaster, blenders, crockpot, tupperware, plenty of dishes/glasses, utensils dishwasher, stove, microwave, frig with pull out freezer. Also hairdryers, washer/dryer. The decor is bright/beachy and there is plenting of seating for everyone. There were a couple umbrellas and a boogie board in the garage cage storage area. The 6 person golf cart was an awesome addition, there were many places to ride to including grocery, shopping and dining! We didnt need to drive the car anywhere except for our 1st large grocery purchase for the week. Westwinds resort is very nice and clean The water is emerald green, beautiful and clear! The property mgmt is awesome, they spoke with the owner our 1st day there about a not so comfortable mattress in the bunk room full size bed delivered a new one the 2nd day! We had no cons to the stay at all! I do just want to notify mgmt the balcony concrete could use cleaning and a new outside side table (legs rusted only bc outside in the elements). The fan in the bunk room is on the list to be repaired (there are small fans in closets if needed). The left screen door to the balcony could use a little tlc but Im sure that is bc all the use it receives! We would definitely recommend this place for your vacation!! Enjoy, we certainly did!! Great condo and location!

Condo was large and had a nice layout. Patio was huge with a beautiful ocean view. The pool area had plenty of chairs and a snack bar, and of course, the beach is incredible. Owners were very helpful, accommodating, and responsive.

Great condo for family

Our family really enjoyed our stay. It was very clean upon arrival, and the sunrise views were fantastic. We saw dolphins and rays from the balcony every morning! The condo has everything you need for a large family to stay comfortably.

Very happy, great place to stay!

My family had a great vacation and enjoyed the comfort and convenience of this condo. Layout is great w two masters. All the needed items were stocked, with several extras. A full stock of beach supplies and a great 6- person golf cart to enjoy the surrounding area. Great place for your vacation!

Would stay at this unit again

The condo was great. Very clean and plenty of room for our family of 7. The patio was very nice had a big table and chairs. Will for sure return to this condo again. The storage had chairs and umbrella's however we choose to rent them instead but the kids really enjoyed the boogie boards and other toys they had for the beach. To the owners of this property thank you for sharing your beautiful condo with us. We had an awesome time.

Great location

This property is awesome. So much to do. The golf cart was a great added bonus. We loved the pool and amenities that Westwinds has to offer. The condo served its purpose. Definitely not the nicest we’ve stayed in but could have definitely been worse. The management was great to work with. Our negatives for this place are small but worth mentioning. First would be there was no pantry space to store food in the cupboards. They had a lot of mismatched kitchen items filling the cupboards. Second was the screen door to the balcony was broken. Third, the freezer part of the fridge had ice all under the drawer and would leak. And lastly the drying took forever to dry anything, so you’ll want to avoid doing much laundry. But again, all minimal issues. We would definitely go back!

Great Getaway

We really enjoyed our trip to Westwinds. The golf cart was an added bonus for the condo. The only inconvenience was the ice maker was not working, however we were able to go to the third floor to retrieve ice from the ice machine. Overall a great trip!

Family Vacation

This property is just as described! It is an amazing place with everything you would need. The condo was very clean but the cleaning staff forgot to unload the dishwasher which we found out when we were looking for silverware. The only other issue was the amount of people on the beach, but that should be expected with the amount of condos in the area. I would still recommend this place to anyone and would possibly stay there again because it is on the beach and it is a beautiful location

Great condo!

Overall the stay was great and we all really enjoyed ourselves. Would have appreciated some kind of welcome package or info packets left for visitors. We stay at cabins in Blue Ridge Georgia and lake houses on Lake Michigan and they always have packets left out for us. Just makes things easier when trying to plan outings. The condo was clean and spacious and easy access to the beach. The pool is awesome for a nice break from the salt water. The water is crystal clear and gorgeous.
