Our family of four had a great Spring Break stay at Turquoise Turtle in April, 2025. The house was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. Efficient heating and AC; appliances and door codes worked as expected. The house is right across from the larger pool which could be a little loud if outside, but not inside. We enjoyed the covered porch with the charcoal grill and the yard for throwing the baseball (many houses in the neighborhood have little or no yard).
We used the beach wagon provided to tote our gear. Chairs and umbrella also available but we'd brought our own. It was about a six minute walk to the beach; the pavilion access with restrooms is convenient. The beach area isn't wide or deep but it's nice to have a reserved/private spot. The neighbors were friendly; it's a gated community so traffic is slow. Our kids rode their scooters often and felt safe. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, and utensils, but no seasonings. The coffee pot is a Keurig w/K Cups or 8" basket filters.
We recommend Skipper's take out for steamed snow crab & shrimp. Kenny D's was a great option for walking to a restaurant. Dollar General at end of the street had a decent grocery selection.
