The house looked beautiful and upon arrival we were happy with the location & accommodations. We were there for a family reunion with 37 people. We soon realized there were many issues with the house.
The main problem was with the water pressure and temperature. Some bathrooms only got scalding hot water & others only had cold water. The water pressure everywhere was very very weak- it was hard to wash dishes or fill a bath. After mentioning this issue to management, they came and tried adjusting but it didnât fix it. They wanted to send plumbers in but at that point we only had a few days left and felt like it would be a huge inconvenience, especially with all the babies and toddlers, so we chose to hold off.
Other issues included one washer not spinning, no extra bedding in closets, hibachi grill was rusted, pool was smelly.
Overall, we felt that for the money we paid, there were way too many items that were wrong or needed help. When you pay for high-end, you expect a property well-maintained with very few or no problems.
Manager was easy to get a hold of but was always very defensive about any issues we brought up. She did offer $500 compensation for the inconvenience but the owners never followed through with payment and for how much we paid overall, we felt this amount was way below what it should have been.
Overall, even though the location was good and the house was beautiful, we would not stay here again or recommend it to others.
