We were two families staying in this house with young children. The entire reason we booked this property was because the listing mentioned it had a heated pool - we stayed here during February, so planned to swim in the pool for our main activity.. Upon arrival, we discover that the pool was in fact ice cold. After calling property management, I learned that the heater was broken and would not be fixed for the duration of our stay. I was really baffled as to why property management couldnât have discovered this and communicated it to us before, as we honestly would have cancelled the trip.
So it was 2 families with 6 kids ranging from 6 months - 6 years, trapped in a very tiny beach house during wintertime. The condition of the house itself was also pretty poor. The floors were buckling everywhere, pool door alarm was not working, one of the closet doors was off its hinges, and one of the âbedroomsâ was basically a closet - literally no windows and could only fit a one small suitcase (other than the bunk bed). I donât even know how it could be considered a bedroom. The kitchen was also inadequately stocked - there were no pans, measuring cups, salt/pepper, and very few pots and dishes. To top it all off, a roach ran across the counter the first night we were there, with the lights on and people in the kitchen. It felt like a cheap college spring break condo.
After our stay (which we cut short), management refused to give us any refund. Would not recommend.
