Overall we had a nice stay at the property. House was big enough for our large group, game room was nice and pool was warm. Great location to the beach, Some issues worth noting was that the jets are broken in the hot tub and could not be fixed during our stay. Also the waterfall doesn’t work. The pool area definitely needs some repair. The advertised garage does not exist. It is now a bedroom so if you are counting on that for parking, don’t. Master bathroom toilet had to be fixed twice during our stay and 3rd floor dryer doesn’t dry in one use

The property itself is beautiful. However it wasn’t very clean. There were live bugs in showers, toilets, gnats flying everywhere it seemed plus someone had a spider crawling in their bed. Also the house was not stocked with any seasonings for food. While this was not advertised, other homes we’ve rented on the same block had these things so we were a bit caught off guard. These things could all be improved.

Great Family Vacation

This property was as beautiful as advertised. Plenty of room for our large family and everything we needed. Game room and Ice Maker were nice “extras”. Especially enjoyed the kitchen and pool areas.

We had an amazing time, walking distance from beach and the pool and hot tub were great for the kids, baby and Adults. Kitchen was spacious. Everyone (28 of us) loved our stay here.

Great Stay

We had a great stay at this property. There was an issue with the pool heat the first day but they had maintenance there within a couple hours and fixed. Washing machine on 3rd floor was not working for our stay but there was another on the 2nd floor so not a major issue. The house was clean, plenty of parking for our group, and short distance to the beach.We loved the pool area with tv by the hot tub. Was great for enjoying March madness games!

Cleanliness and a few needed Items

The home is beautiful and was just the right size for our group. The pool/spa was terrific. The cleanliness of the floors was a big concern for me. The floor was grimy to the touch of the feet and dirty to where we needed socks or shoes to keep our feet clean. There was only a broom and dust pan for the whole house to clean with. No rugs at the doors to help keep out sand and dirt. No dish cloths to wipe counters down with. Only two dish towels and 1 pot holder. Something had been spilt in the oven and when we used it, it got smoky and smelled in the kitchen. The cleanliness was my only concern

Beautiful home, but everything was as expected

The home is beautiful, more than enough room for everyone. There was more than a couple of things that could have made know to us before checking in. The outside television wasn’t working. The pool seemed to be stuck on 89 deg so water was never cool. One of the TVs wasn’t plugged in and impossible to plug in yourself, so we had to call maintenance to plug it in. The house had no cable so everything had to be streamed, with slow internet. The water fall to the swimming pool was not working. Per instructions of owners we were asked not to turn thermostats down lower than 71 degrees. This rental cost me a lot of money, didn’t expect to Run into issues like this.

Great house for large group!

This house is wonderful for a large group! Each family had their own bedroom and bathroom which made things very nice for everyone. The golf cart was great but the walk to the beach is closer than it appears on the map. The pool was large enough to fit all 8 kids and those adults wanting to join them. I would recommend this house to anyone needing several bedrooms and a pool!

Gorgeous home

We loved all the updates of the home as well as the location to the beach. Miramar beach is gorgeous, it was our first trip here. The house had plenty of beds for our family reunion which was a must. My frustration with the property was that we were already paying a hefty price for the home and then a significant chunk was needed to heat the pool which I felt should’ve been included in the cost of the home. Again the property was wonderful but we felt like there could’ve been rugs in the bathrooms for the floors/toilets instead of a cheap towel to use. The location of the house was fantastic to the proximity to the beach as well as coffee shops/ restaurants and having a golf cart was a plus.

Great home with lots of space

The whole family stayed for our Christmas trip. The house was in a great location. It was clean and setup perfectly for what we needed. The pool was great and had all the toys for the kids to enjoy. Fully stocked with everything you’ll need.

Gorgeous Home

This home was as advertised! Location was very close to the beach with a beach access code, 4 chairs and 2 umbrellas. The king bedrooms with en suite bathrooms were perfect for all the couples and the bunk bed rooms did not disappoint for the kids. We couldn’t initially find the pack and play and the manager dropped one off immediately (we later found two more in a bedroom closet downstairs). They were also very responsive when we had a bit of trouble with the heat in the hot tub and pool (I imagine it was user error as the manager and pool staff fixed the issue almost immediately and we enjoyed both the pool and hot tub all week). We absolutely loved the dual refrigerators and dishwashers for our group and the outdoor entertaining area was perfect! Overall this was a wonderful property for our beach vacation!

Family vacation

The house was absolutely perfect my family decided to all get together and go on a vacation we didn’t think we’d fit so perfect but we did in this house! 23 of us to be exact. There was still plenty of room, we loved the space and amenities this house had to offer. We will definitely be booking this house again it was perfect!

Perfect place for our large group

We had my sister and I’s families. 24 adults and one toddler. Property was accommodative to our dates (we couldn’t do Saturday-Saturday b/c of work). Place was spotless, well kept, rooms huge, backyard with pool was beautiful and spacious. Just a perfect location to the beach. Would definitely rent again.

Great spot for family

The house was beautiful. Check in and check out was simple with a door code. Having the golf cart was a great convenience. It was nice that the fee included cleaning services so that we didn’t have to spend a lot of time cleaning. The following items are minor but a good heads up for future guests: Only one washing machine could accommodate beach towels so we had a long laundry line and we were drying into midnight on some days. Beware of the loud beep from the dryer. It will wake up the entire family. One refrigerator was having trouble getting to the appropriate level of cool. The AC was set to automatically switch to 78 at night everyday. Overall a very hassle free stay. We loved it there!

Beautiful Property

Everything was perfect! Our only complain is the tile out by the pool. Almost everyone in our family slipped even though we were very careful after the first fall. Tile surface by a pool is not a good match. Another thing was the glass decor the pool had. We also had several people cut their foot with it. Very dangerous! Maybe have some peddles instead of glass decor.

The house was perfect for our large family (16) with a wide age range 9months to 75 years old. The house had so many amazing amenities that we enjoyed using: the pool with the outdoor tv/bar, the golf cart to transport to the beach, the game room! Family Vacay @ Vast Cay

My entire family enjoyed their stay at Vast Cay Castle. The home was very clean and comfortable for a large family gathering. Best part - the young kids loved the pool. They spent everyday playing at the pool. Loved the fact the pool was only 4 ft deep. Felt safer traveling with young children and an autistic child. The older kids loved the close access to the beach and the ability to walk to nearby stores. Location was great for the entire family. Property management was very responsive when we had questions. 5 🌟 star experience
