We spent 10 days at the Sunset Escape in August 2025. It was, without a doubt, the most aesthetic VRBO that our family has ever stayed in. The decor and design of the home is straight from the pages of magazines. Not only decorated to perfection, the hosts have also stocked it with everything your group could need for a memorable stay at the lake. From the kitchen to the bathrooms, everything is organized. If youâve ever spent hours of your vacation digging through drawers to find what you need, youâll appreciate the time that was taken to label every drawer. No more precious time wasted! Stepping outside the house, the dock is a dream!! We appreciated the permission and ability to dock our boat and jet skis at the dock during our stay. Access to the boathouse with a refrigerator was a huge plus. Take a swing at the docks edge, or explore the cove on one of the paddle boards, your soul will thank you. When youâve had enough of the water sports and cooking in the well-appointed kitchen, youâre just minutes away from some of the best food, shops, and activities on dry land that SML has to offer. If youâve never stayed at the lake before, I cannot stress what a huge privilege the proximity is. Sunset Escape was the perfect place to unwind and to reconnect. We cannot recommend this rental enough. Shayla and Jason- Your home is beautiful. Thank you for allowing us the privilege of staying in it. We will be back!!
