The home was beautiful, well maintained, and very clean. The views were also stunning.However, as a kayak bass fisherman, the mention of kayaks in the listing led me to assume there would be a place on the property to launch them. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The kayaks on site appear to be brand new, likely because there is no practical way to get them down to the water from the property. While I understand that assumption was partly on my end, clearer information in the listing would have helped set expectations.Communication was also an issue. I asked a question four days prior to arrival but did not receive a response until the day before check-in, which limited our ability to adjust our plans. We also asked about nearby locations to launch the kayaks and did not receive a response. I was able to ask a neighbor, and he stated it was miles away. So, if you don't have a truck the kayaks are worthless. Because of these issues, I am leaving a three-star rating.
