Two friends and I stayed here for a night while traveling to Monroe to visit the Hot Spring. We were really happy with all the nice amenities the home had to offer, especially the fire pit! We purchased wood from a nearby store and sat outside for a long time in the evening after our spa visit. We felt safe at the house and would definitely considering staying again if in the area!
The home was more up to date and comfortable than the pics show. The home is very cozy and comfortable. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were nice. The property has plenty of room to park a trailer and unload several UTVâs. There were fun trails and it was close to the canyon ATV trails. We went up and played in 12 in of snow and the kids had a blast. The scenery was amazing. You can drive right up to the free hot springs. You wouldnât was to hike to them in your flip flops. Unfortunately, the local gas station is closed so we had to drive 5.5 miles to get fuel. The local grocery store is close but very small. Richfield is not too far away for other necessities. The owners were extremely nice and attentive.
We were traveling with kids and family to Utah for a wrestling tournament and this house was absolutely perfect for our group. Clean comfortable and we will try staying here again next year!
The stay was actually much better than I anticipated. There was a lot of space, perfect communication from the host. It was very clean and I felt completely safe with kids. I would absolutely stay again in the future.
We had a sibling reunion (6 Adults) for our Aunt's Birthday. The house was as advertised- Wonderful experience, we loved the decor and the fire pit was perfect - the only issue at all is there are some weird partial steps going in and out of several rooms- we learned to navigate them and it was great- when in the area we'd love to stay there again -and we were all pleased - we highly recommend this property when in the Area!
We loved staying here. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were comfortable. There was plenty of room. We loved playing games. We would stay here again.
This was a great house and great location. Next time we head this way, we will look for this property again. The host was very helpful and was easy to communicate with.
Communicating with Mystic Manor's owner has been fabulous! Mikki's quick response before our trip and during our stay was stellar!
The home was comfortable and one of the biggest we have rented on VRBO.
We had tons of parking for all of our kids vehicles and for our 20 foot trailer and all of our ATV's after they were unloaded.
We kept the ATV's under the large carport and rode out of town each day from "Mystic Manor". We really enjoyed riding in the area and Monroe and the surrounding towns are very ATV friendly. It was miserably hot in town until we got up in the cool of the mountains. We didn't realize how deserty Monroe was and did not study our altitudes before the trip.
Our teen-aged granddaughters and my 83 yr old mother especially loved the Hot Springs which were super close to the house, but we just rode the ATV'S up the streets. The pool towels were put to good use, and we washed them in a handy stack washer/dryer combo unit in the master bathroom to reuse the following day.
The kitchen was well-stocked with SO many appliances. A rice cooker, a George Foreman Grill were things I never would have expected a rental to have and would have made my meal planning easier had I known. We used the waffle maker, and crock pot. Such great additions to the kitchen.
Some things I found I needed in the kitchen were:
A hand mixer (Mikki's mom brought us one to use- she was so kind!)
Potato Masher (we used the mixer from Mikki's mom, so made do)
A spatula/scraper
Hot plate trivets
Medium sized pots (only one provided)
The dining room only has seating for 4.
We brought an 8 foot folding table and additional chairs.
There were only 2 washcloths provided, 1 in each bathroom, and I found myself needing dish towels and dish rags.
My mom went to the dollar store and bought more. My mom also got a kick out of the dozens of "worded" signs throughout the house.
It was a joyful reunion for my spread out family and any problems we had Mikki was quick to fix. She was a great hostess!
Upon arrival we seen police officers blocking off the main street with barricades, a bit disconcerting until we learned they were creating basketball courts for a 3 on 3 kids tournament. It was such a neat experience. Wonder home and community.
The Monroe House was comfortable, clean and well equipped for our stay. We enjoyed the quaint town and the location is perfect for day trips to many National parks, Where we enjoyed
hiking and taking in the beautiful scenery. We would return to
the house where we had all the amenities of home to rest, and enjoy games, relax in the cute backyard under the patio and make more happy memories.
