Disappointing Stay — Needs Major Improvements I don’t often leave reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience with this hotel. My family and I stopped here overnight while driving home from Orlando. If it hadn’t been for the fact that we had already been on the road for 12 hours, we likely would have left after seeing our room.To start with the positives — check-in was quick and easy, and the night staff were friendly and accommodating. Parking was also convenient during our stay.However, the condition of the room was very disappointing. It was immediately clear that the online photos were heavily enhanced, as the actual room looked quite worn and in need of repair. The walls had visible damage and could use a fresh coat of paint. The beds were uncomfortably firm, and the blankets were itchy. The floors were far from clean — after showering and walking around the room in clean socks, we noticed they had turned black from the dirt. Noise was another major issue. The walls were extremely thin, and we could hear every movement from the guests above us throughout the night, making it very difficult to rest. The entire building had a strong odor of marijuana combined with a musty, damp carpet smell.The final concern came the next morning when we were checking out and noticed a small roach crawling out from from under the refrigerator. That was the last straw. Overall, I would not choose to stay here again. This property is in serious need of deep cleaning& maintenance.
