Gut: Sauberkeit
Pros:The room is a ground floor apartment within an apartment complex with other long-term renters. (Ground floor is my personal preference.) Good security gate to enter the complex. AC in each room worked well and the electricity stayed on (no power outages). The pool was big and well-maintained. Big TV in living area that we could use our streaming services.The host was accommodating when we mentioned there were 3 of us but only 1 bath towel, he quickly brought us 2 more towels.Being the 1st guests to this location, we provided some more insights to the host to be prepared for USA or European travelers (like correct amount of towels, and toilet paper in the bathroom/washroom). They had consistent hot water for the shower! Having just come from Ghana, where we did not have consistent water, let alone hot water, I was very happy. Cons / to be aware:- WiFi connection was inconsistent, but this is Liberia. So there’s that. - a washing machine is advertised in the listing, but it is a laundry service that is next door to our room. It was 5 USD a load, and we got our folded laundry back within 8 hours. Marthalyn was very quick and kind.- we booked a month prior to our stay. Although about 2 weeks before our trip I had to shift our stay by one day. The response was a little slow on the VRBO app. - the apartment complex is right off the ocean, so the paint on the building reflects the salty moisture air, but not terrible like you see with other buildings.
