We needed a relaxing vacation and the Hyatt Zilara exceeded our expectations in every way. The property is amazing and we met so many friends on staff that we can't wait to schedule our next trip. A few names that I would like to mention: Wooren, Marvette, Erroll, Tony D, Elvis, Ruthe Ann, and everyone that helped make our stay relaxing and beneficial to our souls. Thank you again!

Property had access to Hyatt Ziva which is the family hotel. Hotel was the Ritz Carlton previously and is beautiful. All but two dinner restaurants are at the Ziva. Choice Buffet is larger, the French, Italian, Asian restaurants are outstanding. Property has Bites (candy, ice cream, snacks), gift shop larger, cigar shop, night time entertainment, Jamaican Street Food night, pizza shop, other places are there. Vacation at the Zilara was enjoyable but we feel the Ziva has more to offer. Next time we will stay at the Ziva with our grandchildren. Negative - always asked to attend the meeting for the Playa Collection. Didn’t set up a meeting because it felt like a timeshare, membership type deal. Was told it wasn’t. I googled it and yes, it is a membership, 10 or 25 year contract deal. To even come even it would take you years to recoup the $. Said the 90 minute meeting usually ends up to be up to 4 hours when you say you’re not interested. No pressure, right. Others mentioned it was difficult to cancel. Everyone needs to do their research before signing up. There are many negative reviews. If it’s for you, great. So happy we used our time to enjoy the beautiful weather. Overall we will again visit Jamaica again.

My only complaint is the pillow smelled like mildew. It was almost as if the pillowcase was not dried properly and then placed on the pillow. Other than that, the place is absolutely beautiful.
