I chose this hotel based on positive reviews, so my experience upon arrival was extremely disappointing. The front desk staff were far from welcoming. We stood waiting for close to 45 minutes just to be acknowledged, and when we attempted to get assistance, one staff member responded with a rude and dismissive attitude. At no point did we feel valued as guests. While the bartender and cleaning staff were absolutely amazing—kind, attentive, and professional—the same cannot be said for the front desk team. Their behavior was less than desirable, unaccommodating, and lacked even basic customer service skills. At one point, I asked for an iron and felt as though I was begging the front desk staff to do their job, which was uncomfortable and unacceptable. On a positive note, the facility itself was clean, and the food in the restaurant on Christmas Day was good. We were also greeted by the owner, whose demeanor was warm, nurturing, and genuinely welcoming—an experience that stood in stark contrast to the front desk staff. Unfortunately, due to the repeated poor interactions with the front desk, I would likely not stay here again. There is a clear need for customer service training, particularly around professionalism, accountability, and understanding that front desk staff represent the organization as a whole.

Horrible housekeeper. Jer name was Natasha ..she was argunwntatuve and intimidsting. A very bad person for hotel guest. The front desk staff on evening shift was also not very pleasant. This was my worst stay in a hotel in 30 years.

I had the nost amazing time during my stay at Toby's resort. It's easily accessible to everything you need while still offering a more intimate feel, compared to the large all-inclusive hotels on the island. MAJOR thanks to Michael who was beyond helpful during my stay and provided assistancewith helping me distribute my hurricane relief donations. Compliments to the chefs as well as the food is great. I'll definitely be back

The rooms were clean The food quality was some of the best I've had in Jamaica. The staff was nice and accommodating. The drinks at the pool bar were reasonably priced. Just wish they had more entertainment it's really a sleep, eat and go explore outside of the resort type of resort.

I stayed there many times over the past 15 years at this time the front desk was not very helpful. I had booked a pick up at the airport when I got to the airport and I called them. They said they didn’t have call or my email, which is false cause I have the email in front of me that said that they would have somebody pick me up. They also said they didn’t even have a driver there so I needed to find my own driver and could do that and pay no more than $15 so I was a little disappointed in that customer service. And then I needed more than two towels in the bathroom because there were two of us and they said that they only give a towel per person in the room And so I was a little disappointed in that too. In the past, though, we’ve been very happy with the customer service at this time one of the ladies at the front desk was really, and maybe it was two of them over the 24 hours we had stayed there Really not helpful at all, which is why I’m writing this has just an average.

They wouldn’t refund us for a night where our flight was cancelled. The room had a damaged door, toilet that kept flushing, a lightbulb falling out of the lamp. But staff were nice and bed was comfortable. Good location for the area.

Two pools and a great restaurant serving authentic cuisine on-site. Pick up transportation at the hotel desk if you are looking to go out as the walkable areas around the location can seem a bit rough.
