Overall we had a good time
I donât feel like this place was prepared beforehand for our stay. It seemed that it might have been cleaned last time someone booked it but not recently. We arrived and the ping pong table was dusty and dirty. There was also dead cockroaches around the house. The couches were peeling, causing little pieces to stick to clothing. There were lots of light switches and some didnât seem to be functioning or lights didnât seem to work. The light in the upstairs playroom specifically didnât work. There didnât seem to be any pest control done outside on the deck, so there were spiders and wasps everywhere. And I get that itâs outside near a lake, but a minimum of leaf blowing or spraying some insecticide near the house especially on the deck is necessary. We made the best of the situation and still had a good time. But with cleaning fees being extreme I felt that better attention and care was needed.
