Your usual unremarkable experience (B+ Rating)

The room had very basic amenities, although thoroughly clean. No frills or extras of any kind. Coke machine was empty and ice machine broken on the first floor. We asked to change out a pillow case on a Saturday morning and it wasn't done till Sunday afternoon. Front desk typical of chain hotels... Courteous, albeit ambivalent. Breakfast was sustenance, nothing special or of quality. Keep your expectations low and your experience will be fine.

My ranking of 4-stars is as high a ranking as I ever give for a bargain price chain hotel. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and the bathroom was nicely appointed. Evening tea and coffee service was not good. The hot water provided to make tea was barely warm, and the tea selection included high caffeine Earl Gray (not good at 9 PM) and a terrible tasting lemon infused tea. My comment is a nit, intended to spark better tea service. The next time we come to Monticello we will stay at the Hampton Inn.

I loved the room. The staff was exrea nice. The only concern was the breakfast. There was pork in the eggs, and the oatmeal was like glue. I will stay there again.

Nice, and met our needs

Very nice rooms. Appears to be pet friendly. Elevator was noisy so I often used the stairs. Great breakfast with pre-made breakfast bags to bring with you if you needed to depart prior to 6am
