Hotel Gault - A Great Place to Stay in Montreal

The menu had a lot of choices and the service was excellent - attentive wait-staff really appreciated. And I was able to linger after breakfast; I was not rushed to leave.

We would definitely come back, even if it were just for one night. It was a wonderful experience. We loved our spacious, well-equipped room and appreciated how quiet both the hotel and the neighborhood were. The bed was very comfortable, the shower what great, and the bath and shower products smelled so good. Can't wait to be back.

Wonderful hotel and staff

The staff was very helpful and attentive. There was a small hiccup with the box water in the room and we got immediate support to resolve the matter. We got a free bottle of wine sent to the room. The hotel room is spacious, the balcony windows are beautiful. We had a great anniversary celebration in Montreal and the hotel.

Not a comfortable stay

Unfortunately there was street construction which started at 6:00 am outside our windows. Although the room was large it was sparsely furnished with no access to charging terminals or electrical outlets on either side of the bed. We had to wait 45 minutes for the valet to get our car. Overall it was not a good experience.

Smaller but very pleasant hotel. Service was top notch and the rooms were perfect. We stayed in a Loft with Terrace room on the 5th floor. Being able to walk out on the terrace was nice even thought there wasn't much of a view. We valeted our vehicle and noted that it was just parked outside behind the main entrance in a gravel courtyard of the hotel. Safe enough and it didn't bother us one bit but I know that the information on Expedia states that there is "covered" valet parking. We never did take advantage of their gym but I'm sure that it would have been spectacular. We would definitely consider staying here again.
