Our first impressions were good. The room was newly renovated and looked clean. The front desk informed us parking was included (which I had not been expecting). The hotel was also in a lower price bracket than some of the 3 star hotel chains downtown. The thing that really bothered us was that the fire alarm went off twice in about three days during our stay. Once in the evening and once in the early morning during our stay. During those alarms, the staff seemed completely unprepared and never made announcements about whether we were safe to ignore the alarms. Our room was also near the stairwell, and we heard a lot of noise from the halls and stairs. While the bedroom was newly renovated the bathroom felt run down. That said, the price was pretty good, especially with parking included.

The location is very convenient in the city center. The room is large, clean, quiet, and has a great view. The breakfast is average, so it's best to eat out. The staff are friendly, but their French accent is so thick that it's hard to understand.

The staff was pleasant to deal with. The hotel chandeliers in the hallway leading to the 10th floor rooms were covered in cobwebs. There was a weird odour in the hotel lobby. The rooms are clean but decor is outdated. They do have fast service when requesting towels. It's a 10 minute walk to the Centre Bell and close to the highway. Parking is $35/night. I would not price point it at what it cost per night.
