I booked this hotel 5 months in advance, one hour before check in time I got a text message saying my room is under renovation and they will not be able to accommodate me. I called the property manager, they answered the phone with no indication that it was a hotel. I asked for a different room and he told me to hang up and text him my name, I did so and never heard back for 20mins. I then called the number again and someone different answered the phone, he apologized and told me it would take 5-7 business days to receive my refund. This was very inconvenient and put a damper on my trip. Luckily I found another hotel that accommodated us during my stay in Montreal. I still have not received my refund, DO NOT STAY HERE
It was the worst experience in my whole life..We were not even able to check into the property..we a family of 6(inclduing kids) were told by the property management(lady named Rachel) just few hours before check in that the property have some issues so we should cancel the booking and get the refund which was impossible for us that time..they were not even trying to arrange some alternate accomodation and after pressing them so much they told they will provide another apartment in the same building..
We drove from very far (ontario) and when we reached the property around midnight, we were not able to check in using the lock code provided by email and whtsapp..
When I called the customer care, they told us that there is some technical issue in that property and we cant stay in that apartment and they also told that they dont have any other property in montreal for us
We 6 people with kids were starnded in that aprtment building with so many luggages at midnight and we didnt have any place to stay..
I called them almost 30 times as initially even stopped picking up my call..
Somehow they picked up my call and then to my surpise a man named Andy told me at midnight that he have one apartment in kingston which is around 3-4 hours away from Montreal..this is how unprofessional this company is..they expect people who came to visit Montreal to go back to kingston.we even xpedia customer care response was also pathetic.we want a compensation against this worst experience.
Not well managed, poor communication. Not up to date with the ins and outs of the property. There are a number of things that if improved would make the experience better.
Booked an apartment but when I arrived the rental was completely not as pictured. The rental had not been cleaned -âbed and bathroom where clearly used and dirty. The whole apartment was very low quality and uncomfortable with stained fabrics and basic and broken furnishings. Was able to get moved to another unit which was significantly better and more closely resembled the booking site images. Would never trust this property again. Very disappointed.
Spacious but not very comfortable . The bed was small and low quality for 2 adults. A fan is needed for summer months, needed air circulation. Area is great! Comms with host were clear.
First off all there is no AC. I do not think this property should be on the market for rent during summer time with the temp reaching 92 degrees at time. The shower curtain very durty. The kitchen light stop working after my second night at the apartment. The cool water from the bathtub stop running two day after we check in. We call for assistance, and I was told that they will informe the concern team. I booked the apartment for 5 days but start having issue after my second night. I called and complained but never received any assistance.
The communication for checking-in was not sent and the process around receiving it was stressful. Other then the bad first impression from the rental company, the rental was nice, easy to access and in a great area for using local transit. We will likely stay again if it is available next year around the Canada GP weekend.
Great location literally steps from the side entrance to the Metro. But also easily walkable to many areas!
The bathroom was new and pretty nice but as other have mentioned some basic maintenance is missing in some areas. Definitely good value. We were here for the F1 Grand Prix and it was well priced compared to others.
We stayed for two nights. The coordination was timely and the cleanliness was good. It had easy access to restaurants and downtown. The only issue we had was the number of stairs and the narrow hallway to reach the unit. My mother was with us and had some difficulty navigating the stairs
