We had such a good time here! It was quiet and so relaxing. We made good use of the paddle board and kayaks. The water was warm and easily accessible which was great! The house was beautiful and well stocked and Abbie was so kind checking in with us to see if everything was going good or if there was anything we needed. Honestly out of all the times we rented I never had another host reach out to us like she did. Our older group of kids had no problem finding things to keep them busy inside and out. We even made use of the pass that was left to use, visiting Westmoreland State Park. Everyone has already asked so I’m sure we will be going back again! Thank you so much Abby for sharing your home and kindness.

Comfy, relaxing, beautiful, relaxing vacation home. We went to unwind and the facilities and owners were a delight. Kitchen was super well stocked with everything needed to handle meals for 11 people. Popcorn was a smash. The front door unlocked with our code and we were all ready to expand and kick off 9 days together.

What a Wonderful Vacation Home

Easthaven is such a fun, family place to stay while on vacation. Clean, well equipped, relaxing and family oriented. We enjoyed kayaking, paddle-boarding, fishing, crabbing, visiting West Moreland State Park and the quant surroundings. The house has everthing needed for family fun and special time together.The dophins in the bay at sunrise and the scavenger hunt were nice, fun family surprises!

Mother's Day Week-end

Grandparents and daughter's family, ages ranging from 75 years to 1 month. Had a wonderful time at Easthaven. From the Scavenger Hunt to the Sunfish to the Beach and Park passes...this family goes all out to provide a great experience.

Valentines During a Rainstorm

We decided to take a spontaneous trip (literally booking at 9:00 PM the night before), and most rentals were already closed for the next day, including Easthaven. I reached out to hosts Abbie and Aaron to inquire about the possibility of renting the property on short notice, and they were incredibly accommodating and a pleasure to work with.Upon arriving at Easthaven for our weekend getaway, the weather was less than ideal—rain poured the entire time, which we knew could be a possibility. However, the house was stocked with a variety of board games and offered expansive water views, providing us with hours of entertainment.The layout of the house is perfect, offering ample space for a large group while also feeling cozy enough for just the two of us. I highly recommend Easthaven for both families and adults looking for a stunning view and plenty of activities that will keep guests of all ages engaged—perfect for getting the kids away from their electronics!

Holiday getaway

We came for R & R and we got it! Abbie was a great and responsive hostess and the house was perfect. Even though the weather was cold the views were still great, the layout was perfect and the furniture, especially the beds, was so comfortable. Getting groceries from the Food Lion was easy too. We're not big on water sports so unlikely we would come back in the summer, but maybe another visit in the spring or fall. Highly recommend!

Pleasantly surprised!

This was a wonderful property! We all enjoyed our stay. The pictures are accurate and the home is very clean, considering pets are allowed. Abbie was very communicative and so easy to deal with. Stay here! You won’t regret it.

This is one of those rare Vrbos where you feel like family and not a stranger. The home is beautifully thought out with each room’s theme reflected in the design from top to bottom. Everything you need is available and right where you’d expect to find it. Finishes and furnishings are well done and very well cared for. These hosts don’t cut corners. Our family had so much fun that we never even did the off-property activities we planned! Kid friendly, pet friendly, and grown up friendly. We would wake and have breakfast overlooking the water, then spend the day playing on the dock. Evenings were games, movies, and popcorn. Truly memorable family time. The hosts are very responsive and helpful. Check-in was seamless. Seriously - stop looking. Just stay here!

They thought of everything!

The hosts attention to detail was perfect across the entire experience. Communication was simple and clear, the house was appointed beautifully, and they really just added all the little details that made the experience feel like we were honored guests. The theme is so fun and executed with great care and since we had a few rainy days it was great to play board games and we really enjoyed the scavenger hunt! We loved that the kitchen was well stocked with appliances for cooking nearly anything you can imagine, the outdoor amenities were well taken care of and there were loads of options! Because I'm kind of a house nerd I loved the guest book with before and after renovation photos! They did a great job creating a cool mid century vibe while guests get to enjoy all the comforts of the 2020's. And don't even get me started on the views! We're excited to have found a perfect getaway for when we're in the area visiting family. Amazing location and an overall outstanding experience.

Second Home

Everything one wants from a home away from home. The peace, lake, the inside decoration, the games, the serenity of the neighborhood, everything one can expect for family enjoyment. My dogs had a good time exploring.. Easthaven is a terrific place to vacation!

We arrived to find a sparkly clean house in a quiet, rural neighborhood. All rooms are tastefully decorated especially the brand new master suite and beds were comfy. The view is spectacular and we were treated to a magnificent sunrise our first morning. The hosts responded to my questions immediately and were courteous and helpful I highly recommend Easthaven, you will not be disappointed. RBP

Easthaven has it all!!

Easthaven offers A+ communication from Abbie and a beautiful place to stay. The themed bedrooms are adorable, the kitchen is stocked with everything you need, and the view is stunning. It’s also so quiet and relaxing - just what we needed. We could only stay for a short visit but we will be back in warmer weather for the water activities and to explore the area more. What a gem of a place!

Family fun in an idyllic setting

Fantastic trip! Wonderful, perfectly appointed home (no detail spared), with a spectacular view, even in winter, and even prettier with a little snow sprinkled in! The game theme was a hit with the kids and Abbie (host) and her family left no detail out! Wonderful views, spectacularly decorated, clean, bright and hospitable. Highly recommend. We plan to return later in the warmer weather and again next winter!

Perfect Stay

I usually get a rental away from the city to spend Thanksgiving with friends. We wanted rural, private, quiet, water and scenery within a few hours of DC. This house was all of those, perched above the bay of a creek which flows into the Potomac, with outdoor space overlooking the water, and inside space large enough for people to “have their space” and small enough to feel a family/friends closeness. Very clean, efficiently laid out, well equipped, and recently remodeled, everyone thought it was perfect for the prep for, day of, and recuperation from Thanksgiving. The hosts paid obvious attention to providing those things that make staying away from home comfortable and easy, much appreciated especially in light of the distance to and limited number of stores (about ten miles). No one had any complaints, only compliments, and I extended a day, having lost track of time and to enjoy the rental and area longer.
