I think for the price it was great. The property is clean and well maintained. Mark the owner is great. The bathroom is great except if you need to go the bathroom and itâs a few steps outside the nice room/house. Itâs private though which was great. But with someone with a small bladder like me, itâs a little inconvenience. Other than that everything was very good.
Where do I begin do review this stay? In so many ways it was a stay of a lifetime. Markâs Place is beautiful. Each bungalow is unique in design and amenities. Our bungalow had lots of windows and large glass patio door which led to a large deck with outside furniture. Our bungalow did not have toilet or shower contained within, but we did have private facilities directly across from our unit. The bungalows are not air conditioned, and the first couple of nights were warm. If needed Mark will bring you extra fans to be more comfortable.
Mark was an awesome host. He provided us with great recommendations of things to see and do. On site he has kayaks, paddle boards, and snorkeling equipment to rent for the day or for your entire stay.
On the property there are 5 cats, 3 dogs, and 2 rabbits. The animals are frequently around, but never a problem. They will be as present as you want them to be.
I would love to return to Moorea and once again stay at Markâs Place . My dream would be a family and friends reunion there. Iâm
Markâs place is a perfect Haapiti retreat. Each bungalow was carefully designed and well thought-out by Mark himself. Our studio was perfect for a family of 3 and could even fit more. The detached bathroom was really an interesting concept as it felt like you were showering in a garden! Staff was super helpful and even reserved us tickets for the Tiki Cultural Village show, which we would highly recommend! Itâs about a 10 minute drive down the road. Mark went out of his way to make us feel welcome and he really is entrenched in Tahitian culture. He could not have been nicer! Canât wait to come back. Thank you to all of the Tahitian people!
