The cabin is exactly as pictured...SO cute. They had even decorated it for fall. It was really quiet on the lake too so kayaking is easy and comfortable without a million boats going around.

This A frame on the lake is so cute and was perfect for our family during fall break. The house is so cozy, beds, towels, furniture. The kitchen has everything you need. And of course the lake spot is superb for fishing off the dock and equipped with kayaks and paddle boards for a relaxing time on the water. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit as well. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating in communications. Highly recommend the Lake Escape!

Amazing lakeside stay

This is our second stay in this little A-frame. Perfect for a smaller family like ours with 1-2 kids. The location can’t be beat. It’s exceptional and the lake is wonderful to swim in. The property has canoes and a paddle board. The owner is super fast to respond and everything was awesome.

Beautiful cabin in paradise . Very comfortable and easy access to the lake. Picture perfect views. Kayaks were the icing on the cake, morning paddle on the crystal clear lake made for a fantastic stay. Shopping and a number of great restaurants to choose from only minutes away.

Highly recommend for a quick trip to the mountains/lake. Home was cute, clean with all the basics needed. Easy to get into downtown Blue Ridge, hikes, Mercier Orchards, etc. would stay again!

Weekend escape

Beautiful cabin and stunning location right on the lake. We enjoyed lake views from the hot tub. The cabin was warm and cosy on arrival. It was really clean and exactly as shown in the photos. We would highly recommend a stay here.

Quiet and quaint

Cute and clean cabin on Blue Ridge Lake. Decorated beautifully. Surrounding area getting to cabin isn’t the nicest but the cabins next to it are beautiful. Backyard is beautiful but if you have difficulty walking on uneven surfaces, be careful. Overall great place to stay.

Perfect!

Absolutely loved this property! The house was perfectly stocked for what we needed and the view was amazing. We traveled with our small pup and family of four. Small and cozy but enough room for everyone. Such a relaxing atmosphere and we can’t wait to go back!

The Best Property we have stayed at in Blue Ridge!

I take my family to Blue Ridge/Ellijay area 3-4 times a year. We have been coming up to the area for the past 6 years and have stayed at dozens of properties. The Lake Escape is our favorite l property yet. The home is surprisingly roomy with all the modern touches of a luxurious cabin rental. The private dock with water sports amenities was amazing. You could spend the whole week and never need to leave the house. It has easy access and easy parking which sometimes can be difficult in the area with remote dirt roads and incredibly steep driveways but this was easy to get to but still secluded. We will be staying here again very soon. This property snd host deserve its ‘exceptional’ rating.

Relaxing by the lake

We had a very nice stay here. House was well stocked with anything a family could need to have fun at the lake. I personally enjoyed sitting on the dock with a cup of coffee each morning while listening to all the sounds of the forest. Everything about this place makes it easy to just relax and unwind.

Great spot on the lake

This was a great, cozy house on the lake. It was very easy to get to, vs some other properties we have stayed in the area. The house was beautifully decorated and very comfortable for our stay. There house was supplied well. However, The only recommendation is VRBOs typically supply soap as well. This was a minor thing and we had to run out to grab some, as the house didn’t have any. Otherwise, it was a great house with close proximity to the lake, a hot tub and fire pit outside. Everything you would want for a cozy time in the mountains.

Beautiful home on the lake

My family stayed here for a weekend getaway and loved it! The home is beautifully decorated and the A-frame style of the house gives it character. The location on the lake and the view from the house are spectacular. We hope to stay here again!

Quant place

Overall we had a nice stay. The pros were the house is well stocked and has pretty much everything you could need, it was very clean, the inside is decorated cute and it was lovely being right on the lake with access to the kayaks and paddle boards. It’s also convenient to town and Blue Ridge area. The cons were the inside of the home had a very musty odor. We went out and bought a candle to try to mask it. The home had a major ant problem and we could not leave any food items out because ants would swarm them. We had to throw a few food items away and then just kept everything in the fridge to avoid getting ants in them. They were even in the bathrooms and got on our toiletries. If you’re looking for someplace private and quiet this may not be right for you. The other houses are very close as well as the docks for the other houses so trying to sit on the dock to watch the lake and have some peace and quiet was not really possible. Lots of other families and kids from the neighbors could get hectic and noisy.
